Valley of Growth is a cross-sectoral project which aims at boosting the development of the finance market for social enterprises in Bulgaria.
Social entrepreneurs combine business practices and tools with the passion and compassion required to solve pressing social problems. The project is focusing on the early-growth social entrepreneurs - those who have already proven their social impact and their business models, and who have the biggest opportunity to scale their impact.
We are creating opportunities for their development and link them to potential investors in the following ways:
Mapping the early-growth social entrepreneurs and their needs, analyzing investors’ requirements, accumulating know-how, advice and tools
Establishing a social finance partnership between representatives of the private, public and nonprofit sector and designing a new financial instrument for early-growth social entrepreneurs
A pilot capacity building program preparing early-growth social entrepreneurs how to pitch their business and receive an investment
Exchanging experience and building connections between social entrepreneurs, investors, public institutions and experts
Impact for Growth conference will gather the "players" - investors, social entrepreneurs and policy makers to share know-how and practical examples on how to create sustainable investments that have high social impact in the long term.
The aim of the Impact Community is to cultivate and grow the ecosystem for social entrepreneurship. It brings together stakeholders from different sectors - social entrepreneurs, investors and funders, public authorities, intermediary organisations, independent experts and mentors, in order to create connections and exchange know-how.
